Ibrahim Khalil, Staff Correspondent of Jamuna Television, received the 'Bangladesh Journalist Alliance Award-2019' in the category of 'Contribution to the Welfare of Legal Dangers' in the year of Mujib.
The Basaj Sammanna 2019 and a cash prize of Tk 50,000 were given in multiple categories among the field level journalists for their special contribution in journalism announced by the Bangladesh Journalists Alliance in 2019.
State Minister for Information Dr. inaugurated the event held at the National Press Club auditorium on Sunday. Food Minister Sadhan Chandra Majumder was present as the chief guest.
Ibrahim Khalil, Staff Correspondent, Jamuna Television, received the award for his contribution to the welfare of the endangered person or family or any particular section of the society in the declared category.
