It is learned that ASS Maqsood Kamal, chief coordinator of seven colleges and pro-VC (education) of Dhaka University, held a meeting with the principals of the colleges and three concerned deans on Tuesday. The meeting decided to postpone the examination.
Earlier in the day, the education minister said classes would resume in government, autonomous and private universities of the country from May 24 after the holy Eid-ul-Fitr. Earlier, the residential halls will open on May 16. There will be no test before opening. The decision of the universities which had announced to open examinations and halls will also be canceled. Of course online classes will continue.
