An independent panel of experts in the United States on Friday gave emergency approval to the single-dose Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 vaccine. 3 million doses of the vaccine will be delivered to the United States next week. The decision was made at a lengthy virtual meeting of a 22-member committee of the US Food and Drug Administration, comprising top scientists as well as consumer and industry representatives.
